Big Sur, California – What an incredible weekend celebrating Alicia + Ben along California’s central coast. Known for its winding turns, seaside cliffs, and often-misty coastline, we couldn’t have asked for a more picturesque gathering. We started the morning bright and early at their Airbnb in Carmel-by-the-Sea where they got ready as a family with their two boys, Boston and Nash. Their boys were helpful as ever before heading out for the day, making sure moms delicate BHLDN dress was perfect and dads nerves were shaken out.

We had an early start to make sure we could capture those misty-morning skies. So, once everyone was ready we made our way down the coast and couldn’t help but stop along the way for some photo ops. Excited and ready, we arrived at the beach at opening around 9:00 AM. While Kari set up the post-ceremony picnic, Alicia, Ben, and their boys spent time dancing and laughing around the beach while Xsperience Photography captured their love through the camera.
You could feel the love in the air as Alicia + Ben got ready to exchange their simple vows with their little family. White Loon officiated their intimate beach ceremony right next to the water where not even the cloudy skies could take away the sunshine from this day.
Off to the Polished Picnic we go! Alicia + Ben chose to enjoy a beautiful, intimate picnic right along the shores put together by White Loon. They enjoyed Dutch Door Donuts, a variety of pastries from Carmel Bakery, and of course, carrot cake, their favorite from Sweet Rebas. The picnic and variety of treats only furthered this perfect day for their family.
Alicia + Ben rounded out the day with some more dancing and celebrating on the beach with their boys before heading off on their minimoon. They enjoyed a wedding night dinner and their first night as a married couple at Galpao Gaucho in Napa.
